It’s hard to make excuses to a child who is going to sleep hungry, as hard to tell someone who’s dying curable illness that we don’t have time to care. That is why I choose POVERTY as the global issue that I'm interested in. When we talk about poverty, there always a picture jump out at my mind: an malnourished little girl is getting up every morning from a dirt- and illness-stained mattress just because of global inequality wealth. The sheets have long since been used for diapers.
Poverty is living in a smell that never leaves. That is why I choose poverty, global inequality and malnutrition as my mainly concepts of my topic.
Here is a Thinklink shows about the many faces of poverty. From those "hotspots", you will see a Soundcloud definition of global inequality, a TedTalk video about “the quest to end poverty: It's the challenge of our age?”, and a detailed animation describing child malnutrition, focusing on the types, causes, signs and when a health worker should refer.
